Shift Pattern: Monday to Sunday, between 7am and 10pm

Overview

We’re looking for experienced Customer Service Advisors to join a remote team handling inbound customer account calls. This is a full-time role working 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis. Shifts fall anywhere between 7am and 10pm, including weekends.

You’ll deal with a variety of account-related enquiries – anything from billing and payments to account status, direct debit updates, or general support. The role is entirely home-based, but you’ll be fully supported with training, coaching, and regular team contact.

This is ideal for someone confident on the phone, who enjoys helping people and can follow processes accurately while using multiple systems.

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound calls from customers, responding to account-related queries
  • Support with things like:
  • Direct debit setup or changes
  • Missed payments
  • Refund requests
  • Account updates or closures
  • Record accurate notes in customer records after each interaction
  • Use multiple systems while speaking to customers to find and update information
  • Follow clear processes and compliance scripts during calls
  • Escalate calls where necessary (e.g. vulnerable customers, complex issues)
  • Stay up to date with product or policy changes through regular team briefings
  • Hit weekly quality, adherence, and customer satisfaction targets

About you

You don’t need to come from a call centre, but you do need to be comfortable talking to people and using systems at the same time.

We’re looking for:

  • Experience in a customer service role – phone-based preferred
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident using technology (CRM systems, email, call software)
  • Able to stay calm and focused in a busy environment
  • Willing to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Reliable internet and a quiet, secure home workspace
  • Able to follow training and retain detailed information

Working Hours

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Rotas cover Monday to Sunday
  • Shifts range between 7am and 10pm
  • 5 working days per week, 2 rest days
  • Weekends are rotated fairly
  • All rotas provided in advance

Training

  • Fully remote training delivered over a number of days
  • Ongoing coaching and support from a dedicated team manager
  • Regular team meetings and 121s to support performance and wellbeing

  • You’ll need a quiet, secure working space and stable broadband connection
  • Uniform not required, but professional appearance expected for video calls
