About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Data Technician to support the development and testing of datasets for a software model focused on water reticulation networks. This role requires expertise in generating metadata, measurements, and ensuring data integrity within a software platform.
Responsibilities
- Create, format, and validate datasets for use in water reticulation software models.
- Generate metadata and measurement parameters for manual entry and bulk upload into the software platform.
- Conduct rigorous testing to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Utilize ArcGIS GIS tools for data generation and analysis
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in dataset creation, metadata management, and data integrity testing.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in ArcGIS GIS for spatial data management and analysis.
- Familiarity with data upload mechanisms, manual data entry, and database integration.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a technical team..
