About the Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Data Analyst to work for our client within the IT consulting sector. This is initially a 6-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a fully remote role.

Our client is looking for a skilled Data Analyst. This role will support an Insight Generation Project within the Data & Analytics function, focusing on advanced analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Machine Learning (ML) driven insights using tools like Tableau and Snowflake.   

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau ensuring insights are communicated effectively
  • Extract, transform, and analyse data from Snowflake to support business insights
  • Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to support AI/ML initiatives
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting outputs
  • Contribute to the development of scalable analytics frameworks and best practices
  • Regularly communicate and engage with stakeholders to define project goals while providing data driven solutions
  • Provide reports documenting data and analytical processes

About You

Requirements

  •  Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Data Analyst
  • Strong experience with Tableau for data visualization and reporting
  • Proficiency in querying and analysing data within Snowflake
  • Demonstrable understanding of AI/ML concepts, with hands-on experience preferred
  • Solid SQL skills and familiarity with Python or R for analytical tasks
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams within data-driven environments

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Robust experience in Machine Learning is highly desirable
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and GCP
