Why This Role Matters:

This isn’t just another data job. You’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our Commissioned Rehabilitation Services (CRS), using the power of data to improve lives and drive meaningful outcomes across England and Wales. Your insights will shape decisions, inform frontline services, and help ensure the people we support get the right help at the right time.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse large and complex datasets to uncover trends, insights, and opportunities for service improvement.
  • Create powerful dashboards and data visualisations that drive action and performance.
  • Monitor and report on service delivery, outcomes, and impact – making sure no one falls through the cracks.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams across prisons, probation services, and central functions to understand data needs and deliver solutions that make a difference.
  • Develop new systems and tools that enhance how we use data – all while keeping quality, security, and compliance front and centre.

What You Bring:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data validation, with a solid understanding of data principles, structure, and integrity.
  • Professional curiosity and the ability to problem-solve
  • A passion for turning complex data into clear, compelling stories and recommendations.
  • A sharp eye for detail and the confidence to present insights to a variety of audiences.
  • Knowledge of data governance and GDPR.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills – you’ll be a trusted partner to teams across the organisation.
  • A commitment to using data for good – to reduce reoffending, support rehabilitation, and promote social justice.

What’s in It for You?

  • Be part of a values-driven organisation that believes in second chances and lasting change.
  • Work with a supportive and passionate team who care deeply about what they do.
  • Make your mark in a role where your work has real impact on real people’s lives.
  • Flexible home-based working with opportunities for personal and professional growth.
