Data Analyst – Fully Remote – Financial & Technology Sectors
My client is looking for a Data Analyst to join their team and support data-driven decision-making across Technology, Finance, Operations, and Product. This role is perfect for a self-motivated, analytical thinker who enjoys solving business challenges with data.
Key responsibilities:
Reporting & Data Automation
- Develop and maintain automated reports and dashboards to support business functions
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in data reporting across the organisation
- Identify and implement improvements to reporting processes
Business Insights & Ad Hoc Analysis
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and provide actionable insights
- Conduct in-depth analysis to uncover trends and opportunities across key business areas
- Support strategic decision-making with data-backed recommendations
Data Engineering & Analytics Growth
- Write and optimise SQL queries to extract and transform data
- Assist in developing scalable data pipelines and workflows
- Gain exposure to analytics engineering, data engineering, and data science over time
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- Proficiency in SQL – ability to write efficient queries
- Basic knowledge of Python for data manipulation and analysis
- Experience with Looker Studio (or similar BI tools) for reporting & visualisation
