About the Role:
HTK Scaffolding is a professional scaffolding company based in Brighton & Hove. We’ve been trading for 2 years and have built a strong reputation for reliability and safety across both residential and commercial projects.
As our workload continues to grow, so does our need for strong office and digital support. We’re currently looking for a Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join our team. While the role starts as part-time, there is a high chance it will grow into a full-time position as the business expands.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll manage day-to-day administrative duties and support our online presence. From scheduling jobs in Tradify to keeping our social media channels up to date, you’ll play an important role in keeping the business running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling incoming emails and phone calls
- Creating and sending quotes and invoices through Tradify
- Scheduling jobs and communicating with site staff
- Organising job paperwork (RAMS, insurance documents, job sheets)
- Maintaining tidy digital and physical filing systems
- Supporting policy and compliance documentation
- Managing our social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
- Posting updates, project photos, and stories
- Engaging with followers and growing our local online presence
Ideal Candidate
You should have:
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Experience using Tradify or similar admin/job software
- Familiarity with Google Docs, Google Sheets, and email tools
- A proactive, self-motivated attitude
- At least 1 year of previous admin experience
- Basic knowledge of Instagram/Facebook for business
Nice to have:
- Experience in scaffolding/construction admin
- Understanding of RAMS, CIS, or health & safety paperwork
- Familiarity with or similar accounting software
- Experience with ChatGPT, Canva, or similar tools for creating posts
