This part-time, remote role is ideal for individuals with proven experience as a Personal or Executive Assistant, who excel at multitasking and managing competing priorities.

Candidates with an interest or background in social media management and content scheduling will have an added advantage. Strong organisational and time management skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

Personal Assistant (Part-Time, Remote) – Contract Role

LJ Venture Studios is looking for a highly organized and proactive Personal Assistant (PA) to provide administrative support to Lydia Jones, CEO and entrepreneur. Lydia has over 11 years of experience founding and scaling tech startups, with previous ventures managing more than 1 million rooms internationally. She currently leads three businesses in AI Enterprise, Wellness, and Property Management.

This position is part-time (approximately 20 hours per week) on a contractor basis, with potential to move to full-time as the businesses grow. The role is fully remote, with preference for candidates based in the North West UK who can meet in person once a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage calendar, schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
  • Handle incoming communications (emails, calls, messages), prioritizing and responding as needed
  • Prepare and organize documents, reports, presentations, and records
  • Assist with project tracking, deadlines, and follow-ups
  • Coordinate events, conferences, and business travel
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
  • Provide ad hoc personal and administrative support, including liaising with personal contacts when necessary
  • Support social media management and content scheduling across platforms
  • Assist with media and public relations activities

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Personal or Executive Assistant supporting senior leadership
  • Interest or experience in social media management and content scheduling preferred
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Proficient with calendar tools (Google Calendar, Outlook), social media platforms, communication tools, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
  • Proactive problem solver with a positive attitude
  • Flexibility to occasionally work outside normal hours if needed
  • Availability to start part-time with potential to transition to full-time
  • Ideally located in the North West UK for weekly in-person meetings

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting CEOs or founders in startup environments
  • Familiarity with AI technology, wellness, property management, or entrepreneurship
  • Experience with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, etc.)
