Duties
- Assist children with daily routines
- Support children with educational activities and play to promote development and well-being
- Implement and follow individualised care plans tailored to each child’s needs
- Provide transportation for appointments, school runs, or outings as required
- Communicate effectively with families, healthcare professionals, and team members regarding care progress and concerns
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of care provided, and any incidents or observations
- Ensure a safe and clean environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Offer emotional support and companionship to children, fostering a positive atmosphere
- You will be expected to proactively encourage young people to participate in a variety of opportunities that are healthy, meaningful, give them a sense of achievement, and that help build their self esteem.
Essential / Desirable
- Experience working with children or in childcare settings is desirable but not essential- training will be given

- Ability to work long days, short days, evenings, sleep in shifts and weekends on a rota basis (£67.00 per sleep in).
