The Role
As a Residential Care Worker, you will:
- Work directly with children and young people, providing care, support, and guidance on a shift basis
- Act as a key worker, coordinating and reviewing care plans to support independence and transition to adulthood
- Promote safeguarding and respond appropriately to concerns
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to the smooth running of the home
- Act as a positive role model, encouraging responsibility and involvement in decision-making
- Share household responsibilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment
Requirements
- Experience working with children/young people (essential)
- Enhanced DBS check (essential)
- Right to work in the UK (we do not offer visa sponsorship)
- Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays
