Salary: £12.21 per hour

Contract: Zero hours (flexible shifts available)

The Role

We are looking for dedicated Support Workers to join our team in East London. You’ll be working with children and young adults in supported accommodation, helping them live independently, stay safe, and achieve their personal goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support children and young adults with daily living, appointments, and community activities.
  • Promote independence, confidence, and life skills.
  • Develop and follow individual care/support plans.
  • Safeguard and promote welfare at all times.
  • Work as part of a team, sometimes independently, ensuring effective communication with families and professionals.
  • Assist with household tasks, health needs, and emotional wellbeing.
  • Take part in activities that encourage education, employment, and social integration.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in care, support work, or working with young people (desirable but not essential).
  • Compassion, patience, and resilience.
  • Ability to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and person-centred care.
