Nurturing Souls Care is opening a brand-new children’s residential home in Astley Bridge, Bolton, and we’re looking for caring, passionate Residential Support Workers to join our team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of something new and meaningful — helping to create a safe, loving, and therapeutic home for children and young people. You’ll work alongside an experienced Registered Manager and a team committed to delivering outstanding care in line with Ofsted standards and our therapeutic model (PACE – Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy).
Key Responsibilities
- Support children and young people with daily routines, personal development, and life skills.
- Provide emotional support and implement individualised care plans.
- Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing through consistent, nurturing relationships.
- Plan and take part in fun, purposeful activities that build confidence and trust.
- Keep accurate records, reports, and risk assessments in line with Ofsted regulations.
- Work in partnership with families, schools, social workers, and professionals to support positive outcomes.
- Drive children to school, appointments, and outings (a full UK driving licence is required).
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working in a children’s residential home, education, or youth setting (desirable but not essential – full training provided).
- Strong communication, teamwork, and IT skills.
- A caring, resilient, and reliable person who genuinely wants to make a difference.
- Understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and the importance of structure and boundaries.
- A positive attitude and a good sense of humour!
