We are looking for a Senior Care Assistant
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent qualification).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting older adults and/or individuals living with dementia.
- Previous Senior Care Assistant or team-leading experience desirable.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering the highest standard of care.
- Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the residents and service.
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will:
- Lead and support the care team in delivering outstanding personal and emotional care to residents.
- Promote independence, dignity, and choice in line with residents’ individual care plans.
- Administer and record medication safely and accurately in accordance with company policies.
- Mentor, motivate, and support Care Assistants to maintain exceptional care standards.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, colleagues, and external professionals.
- Ensure compliance with CQC Fundamental Standards and all relevant care legislation.
