Norwyn Community Services is seeking an experienced Senior Care Worker to join its dedicated team in Faversham. This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and reliable care professional to take on a senior role, supporting both service users and colleagues in delivering exceptional care.

The ideal candidate will be a good team player, flexible, and able to work in agreed ways to meet the needs of service users. Applicants must have access to a personal car with UK driving experience. UK applicants only will be considered, with visa sponsorship available for suitable candidates.

Position: Senior Care Worker

Salary: £12.82 per hour

About the Role

Holder Valid full UK drivers license + access to a car

UK applicants only – visa sponsorship available to suitable candidates

We cover Kent areas such as: Canterbury, Faversham, Sittingbourne, Sheerness, Maidstone, Thanet, Medway towns and always looking to expand our service to other areas as necessary

Previous care experience beneficial but full training and support will be given

  • Have access to personal car and UK driving experience

Responsibilities of a Senior carer

  • Helping service users meet personal care tasks
  • Help with food and drink
  • Help with medication
  • Help with toileting needs
  • Help with transfers using the service user equipment
  • Help to maintain home environment
  • Escorting to outings
  • Refer to other professionals
  • You must be able to follow care and support plans
  • Offer care and support to various services user groups for example: adults, elderly, mental health, learning disability &autism, physical problems, medical problems etc
  • Visit service users at home morning, lunch, tea and bed
  • Start visits at 7am or according to the scheduled visit times
