Full job description
Due to the need of the business, we are seeking an experienced female Senior Carer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible providing high quality care and support to clients in their own home environment.
Duties
- To perform duties of a Home Care Assistant to reduce the workload of scheduling team according to policies and procedures, agreed standards, and relevant legislation and regulations under the direction of the Registered Manager.
- To work and support a team of Care Workers to ensure that the provision of a Care Service that is unique to each service user is of the highest standard.
- To provide leadership to junior members of care staff within the organization
- Routinely monitors junior Care staff to ensure high standards of Care
- To ensure ongoing knowledge of the functions and activities of the Care Worker Team.
- To work with the Care Worker Team to ensure that the Care Service is delivered to a high standard in line with the Organisation’s Policies and Procedures and related Codes of Conduct.
- To support, and take directives from the Registered Manager / Field Supervisor in relation to the day-to-day management of the Care Worker Team.
Skills
- Preferably bachelor’s degree in the medical field, such as Nursing and Allied Health or equivalent
- Must have at least Level 3 in Health and Social Care or may have nursing qualifications.
- A minimum of 3 year’s work experience in the same capacity
- Analytical skills

- Good planning and organizational skills
- Focused and ability to multitask.
- High level of integrity and ethics
- Be flexible in terms of availability, working hours and adaptable to sudden changes in working patterns

- MUST possess a full UK driving License with own use of a car for the job role
