Position: Senior Data Analyst

Salary: £39,100 to £48,880 per year

About our Team:

We deliver global data solutions to support Sage’s publishing strategy and gain a competitive edge

Our team includes Systems Data Analysts, Product Owners, Engineers, and leaders. We work with the Technology team to communicate business needs and support process improvement, delivery of new capabilities, and data governance practices.

Main Duties

  • Translate business stories into technical deliverable requirements
  • Create data contracts and perform required data mining to support solution delivery
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and report building
  • Manage a variety of tasks concurrently and show flexibility to meet delivery timeframes
  • Identify process improvements and new techniques to improve team effectiveness

Qualifications

  • Communicate effectively and have excellent interpersonal skills developing strong relationships and positively influence key strategic decision-makers across locations and functions
  • Adapt to a changing environment
  • Use SQL to mine, aggregate and gather data
  • Understand relational databases, ETL tools, data conversion and data cleansing methods
  • Apply analysis techniques in a successful technology team delivering enhancements to the data warehouse
  • Rapidly acquire and apply new business domain and technical knowledge
  • Work collaboratively in a globally distributed delivery team
