About the Role
Job summary
The Senior Data Management Analyst is a significant central role in supporting UCLHs strategic and operational use of data throughout the organisation. You will be working as part of an agile team with a core focus on activity, income and workforce data models, and the integration of new datasets into our data warehouse systems. We are looking for an individual who has in-depth knowledge and experience of the day-to-day business of a teaching hospital and will work effectively with clinical, operational, finance, transformation, ICT, and other teams.
Main duties of the job
In addition, you will possess:
- Expert technical skills (SQL, EPIC Reporting Stack, R)
- Innate problem-solving skills
- Detailed understanding of NHS Data Dictionary, Payment by Results and other commissioning options
- A significant experience with a broad set of NHS datasets (income, workforce, outpatient, inpatients, imaging, diagnostics, theatres, pharmacy, pathology, RTT, modelling, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, maternity, commissioning, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills
- Stakeholder management, requirements gathering and specification design
