About the Role
Kenkeputa is seeking a talented and dynamic Full Stack Engineer to join our innovative tech startup in Nigeria. The ideal candidate will play a key role in building and scaling our tech products from a blank canvas. They are looking for someone who is passionate about technology, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to make a meaningful impact
Main Duties
- Collaborate with the founding team to define technical requirements and architecture for our products.
- Facilitate transparent communication with founding team to support organizational objectives
- Design, develop, and maintain user interfaces for web applications using modern front-end technologies.
- Develop server-side applications and APIs using back-end technologies and frameworks.
- Implement security and data protection measures to ensure the safety of our users’ data.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Continuously optimize and improve the performance and scalability of our applications.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in web development.
Qualifications
- Academic qualification of OND in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience (5 years) as a Full Stack Developer, preferably in a startup environment.
- Strong proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Experience with back-end development using languages like Python (preferred), Node.js, react, or Ruby on Rails.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Proficiency in databases including SQL.
- Experience with continuous improvement technologies and TDD.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in mobile development.
- Candidate should not be less than 27 years old.
- Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
