Salary: £19.75- £22.10 per hour

About the Role

We are recruiting for experienced PIN RGN staff Nurse in our small care home in Edinburgh to join their friendly team – full time and part time. Must have at least 2 years experience in UK as a nurse

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, be motivated to offer the highest standards of care to our residents and be interested in continuing personal professional development. We expect candidates to be able to undertake all appropriate aspects of nursing care required in a Care Home environment. Allow our residents to have person entered care.

Responsibilities will include assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for residents to ensure continuity of care.

Training provided – Orientation, Dementia 1 & 2, Stress/ Distress, Fire , Manual handling, Medication, plus more…

All applicants must have a genuine interest in working with the elderly and either be qualified RGN/RMN or ready to revalidate – the management team are happy to assist with the revalidation process.

Exemplary communication skills are essential and applicants must be able to communicate on a variety of levels in fluent English.

You must either be, or be willing to become, a member of the Disclosure Scotland PVG scheme. In return you will become part of an experienced and dedicated team led by management who really care about their residents and their staff. Personal development is actively encouraged with many of our team gaining professional qualifications obtained through development in the home.

Experience in care for the elderly and previous supervisory experience would be advantageous for this role but is not essential.

Appropriate PPE will be issued in line with current guidelines.
