Skills & Requirements

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • 2+ years’ recent experience in residential childcare
  • Strong knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations (England, 2015)
  • Experience with EBD/LD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties/Learning Difficulties)

  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and care standards
  • Oversee care planning and support for each young person
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive environment
  • Build community links and support children’s integration
  • Ensure safeguarding and complaints procedures are followed
