About the Role

We are seeking dedicated and motivated Senior Support Workers to join our client’s care team in Northampton (NN2). This is an excellent opportunity for individuals already in the UK who are looking to progress their career, with a fast-track route into management.

Our client currently has 3 available Certificates of Sponsorship (CoS) for eligible applicants – absolutely no charge to the candidate. Please note: only applicants currently residing in the UK will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and support to service users.
  • Lead, supervise, and guide junior staff members.
  • Ensure care plans and records are accurate and up to date.
  • Contribute to a safe, supportive, and positive environment.
  • Work alongside management to maintain high standards of care.

Requirements

  • Must already be living in the UK.
  • Residential Childcare NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) is highly preferred.

A relevant degree in one of the following (or similar):

  • Health and Social Care
  • Psychology
  • Social Sciences
  • Nursing
  • Counselling
  • Sociology
  • Childcare & Development
  • Previous experience in a support worker / senior support worker role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • An appreciation of South Asian culture (as the clientele is predominantly South Asian).
  • Language skills in one or more of the following: Hindi, Gujarati, Tamil, Swahili, Sinhalese (other South Asian / East African languages are also welcome).
