We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Shift Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager to ensure the smooth operation and exceptional service of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a passion for the hospitality industry, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Main Duties
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring the highest standards of service and customer satisfaction.
- Lead and motivate a team of employees, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure a productive and positive work environment.
- Assist with the recruitment, selection, and on boarding of new staff members.
- Co-ordinate staff rota, ensuring appropriate coverage and efficient labour management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the restaurant.
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
- Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and place orders as needed.
- Assist in conducting regular inventory audits and implement strategies to minimise waste and maximize profitability.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement marketing initiatives and promotions to drive sales and increase customer loyalty.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new menu items, and competitors to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant management role, preferably as an Assistant Manager or Shift Supervisor.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, staff, and management.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make quick decisions under pressure.
