Position: Social Media Manager

Salary: ₦250,000 to ₦300,000 per month

Job Type: Full Time

Location: Lagos (Remote)

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing and monitoring company’s Social Media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve Marketing efforts and increase sales.

Main Duties

  • Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy
  • Define most important social media KPIs
  • Manage and oversee social media content
  • Measure the success of every social media campaign
  • Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Use social media marketing tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite or any other social media marketing tools.
  • Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Product Development teams
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
  • Adhere to rules and regulation.
  • Establish relationships with social media influencers to develop a strong network
  • Develop content or assign tasks to content developers
  • Keep an eye on social media trends
  • Communicate effectively to all stakeholders, including senior management and content developers
  • Update social media content across all channel

Qualifications

  • 5 years experience as a social media manager or a similar role
  • Experience in creating social media strategies
  • Knowledge of best practices for social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Aptitude for crafting engaging content
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Prior experience as a copywriter
  • Prior experience as a content manager
