The Team
Our Corporate Finance team is an emerging practice with an entrepreneurial spirit and strong ambitions for rapid growth. We are currently looking for an Intern to join our team in Manchester.
You will have the opportunity to work on international projects and be involved across the entire transaction lifecycle. You will be part of deal execution in sectors such as Consumer, Healthcare, Business Services, Technology, Real Estate, Energy, and Sports.
At A&M Corporate Finance EMEA, our unique delivery model ensures that junior team members gain direct exposure to Managing Directors and Senior Directors, allowing for accelerated learning and career development. As an Intern, you will work closely with experienced team members and gain valuable on-the-job training across a wide range of assignments.
How you will contribute
As an Intern, you will support the team in various aspects of deal execution and business development, including:
- Support deal execution and financial modelling
- Prepare marketing materials and pitch documents
- Conduct market, company, and buyer/target research
- Monitor data rooms and supporting day-to-day on transactions
- Help prepare client presentations
- Supporting other ad hoc team activities as needed
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled at university on-track for a 2:1 (minimum second year), or equivalent
- Strong interest in M&A and Corporate Finance
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Strong communication and Excel skills
- Ability to manage priorities in fast-paced, high-pressure situations
- Fluent in English; other European languages are a plus
