Position: Support Worker

Salary: £12.10  to £13.80 an hour

Job Type: Full Time

About the Role

Sponsorship Available: Skilled Worker sponsorship is available for candidates who have lived in the UK for at least 12 months.

Monday to Friday (Day Shifts): £12.10 per hour

Monday to Friday (Evening Shifts): £12.85 per hour

Saturday and Sunday (Day Shifts): £12.85 per hour

Saturday and Sunday (Evening Shifts): £13.80 per hour

Bank Holiday Pay: Time and a half

Holiday top-up payments for regular overtime (T&Cs apply)

Paid business mileage (45p per mile for cars)

Sleep-in rate: £80.19 per night

Shift Details:

– 30 hours per week

– Standard shift: 9:45 am – 10:00 pm

– 24-hour shifts: 9:45 am – 10:00 pm (sleep-in), 7:00 am – 10:00 am

– Working alternate weekends is essential.

Main Duties

  • Everyday tasks such as shopping, sitting services and light housework to encourage self-help skills
  • Creating fun and engaging activities
  • Assisting with cooking and support in the kitchen
  • Assisting with fantastic days out with our service users
  • Assisting with personal care with our service users
  • Completing relevant documentation

Qualifications

  • Hold a valid driving licence with access to a vehicle
  • Have a minimum of 2 years support work experience working with people with complex needs and behaviours that challenge
