About the Service

Our community outreach service is for adults with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The service offers many forms of support to people at home with their own tendencies or living with their family. We also offer support to access the community to develop their current interests and explore new opportunities. The support we offer is based on individual people’s needs and wishes – we develop person-centred plans and review them regularly. Using a person-centred approach is at the heart of what we do so we aim to match individuals with their support worker to help each person we support to flourish.

About the Role

We are looking for caring and reliable Bank Support Workers. Your role is to help people live their best lives by following their support plans and daily routines.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, eating)
  • Encourage activities they enjoy (swimming, hiking, arts & crafts)
  • Support life skills & independence (budgeting, shopping, meal preparation)

What We’re Looking For

  • For you to inspire others with a positive attitude towards supporting vulnerable people
  • Experience with autistic people is helpful but not essential
  • Personal experience or a passion for helping others is welcome
