Blue Knight Living Care is looking for compassionate and dedicated Support workers to join our growing team, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities and mental health needs in supported living settings across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing clients with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
- Provide personalised support with daily living tasks, such as personal care, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Follow individual care and support plans to promote independence and well-being.
- Build trusting relationships and offer companionship and emotional support to residents.
- Ensure the safety and dignity of individuals in their homes at all times.
- Maintain clear and accurate records on support provided and any changes in needs.
- Support residents with accessing community activities, appointments, and social opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Participate in ongoing training and development sessions as required.
Requirements
- Experience in care (home care, supported living, or residential care) is essential — further training will be provided.
- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to work according to individualised care plans and adapt as needed.
- A caring, reliable and respectful approach to supporting others.
- Basic IT skills for record-keeping and communication.
- Full UK driving licence preferred (some locations may require transport between services).
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and waking nights.
