Work with Care Dedications to make a real difference to people’s lives which require extra support.
We’re looking to place staff in Children Care Home settings & Support Living Facilities
Locations: LU5 and sorrounding areas
Service type: Challenging Behaviours, Complex needs and Managing Aggressive and Potential Aggressive behaviours (MAPA)
Speciality: Challenging Behaviour, Mental Health, LD, Autism

Practical Moving and Handling

We’re looking for enthusiastic applicants who are:
- Positive, with a can-do attitude.
- Caring and empathetic.
- Have at least 6 Months Experience needed within the UK Care Industry
The Role will involve:
- Helping people to live the individual life they want
- Helping people learn the skills they need to live the life they choose
- Supporting people with their medication
- Experience needed with challenging behaviour
- Experience with Autism
- Assisting with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, and toileting.
- Administering medication in accordance with established protocols.
- Monitoring and recording patients’ vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Assisting with mobility and exercise routines as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Supporting patients with their nutritional needs and ensuring that they have access to appropriate food and drink.
- Assisting with the preparation of clinical areas and equipment.
- Ensuring that patients’ rooms and communal areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Communicating with patients and their families in a professional and compassionate manner.
- Maintaining accurate records and reports.
Qualifications and Experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Understanding of and commitment to safeguarding vulnerable adults.
