Engage Support is looking for dedicated Support Workers to join its committed team on Clarendon Road, Manchester. This rewarding role is ideal for those with a genuine passion for working with people who have complex needs and may display challenging behaviour.
Full-time and part-time positions are available for candidates who can communicate clearly and calmly, bring a positive attitude, and give 100% every day. Being fully vaccinated against Covid-19 is desirable. While experience in the care sector is an advantage, it is not essential — Engage Support believes in matching the right person with the right individuals.
About Engage Support
Engage Support focuses on providing intervention and support for young people and adults aged 16 and over whose behaviour or presentation impacts their opportunities and access within the community. Engage Support works with individuals across the spectrum of learning disabilities, autism, and developmental impairments, and also supports people with dual diagnoses such as mental illness alongside autism.

You will be supporting young adults between the ages of 16 – 40 with their daily living skills such as cooking, shopping, paying bills. Making sure that the individuals stay as independent in their life as they can be and fulfil their dreams by empowering people in their wants and wishes.
We do a variety of fun activities such as walking, hiking, swimming, cinema & gym. We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team. Experience in the Care sector is an advantage but no essential as we believe that matching the right person/support worker with the right individuals is fundamental to ensuring the success of people’s services and their ability to achieve the best possible quality of life, so we are looking for people who have:
- Clear and calm communication
- Fully vaccinated against Covid 19 – desirable
- Willingness to give 100% every day
- Passion for working with complex individuals who display challenging behaviour
- A Flexible approach is essential and you will need to be available to work various shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and sleep-in shifts.
The position will be subject to an enhanced disclosure and barring service check, as well as full employment history and references check.
