We are looking for positive, compassionate, and proactive individuals to join a dedicated support team for an incredible woman currently receiving care in a PICU hospital in Coventry. This role will play a vital part in supporting her transition back into the community and helping her build confidence, independence, and a safe, fulfilling life.
About the Person You’ll Be Supporting
She is bubbly, full of life, and has a vibrant personality that shines through when she feels understood and supported. Building a trusting relationship will be at the heart of this role, as consistency and connection are key to her success. With the right support, she is working towards living as independently and safely as possible within the community.
As with many people on complex journeys, she can experience behaviours that challenge and has, at times, assaulted staff. It’s important that team members are aware of this possibility, approach situations calmly, and use positive, person-centred and trauma-informed strategies. However, these behaviours are not the focus of who she is — her personality, potential, and quality of life are.
If you’re emotionally resilient, patient, and motivated to support someone through a significant transition, and you believe in empowering people to live life on their own terms, this could be a truly rewarding opportunity.
What You’ll Need:
- A genuine passion for supporting people to live their best lives

- A supportive working environment where your ideas and input are valued
- Opportunities for professional development and progression
- The reward of knowing your work truly makes a difference
