Job Description:
We are an East Midlands based social enterprise that is committed to improving the lives and prospects of people with learning disabilities and Autism by offering appropriate and aspirational opportunities. We provide person-centredprogrammes that offer practical, real-life based activities that support people in their transition from school or college or other settings into a sustainable adult life.
We are looking to appoint two full-time Support Workers to work across our sites flexibly. You will have at least 1 year experience in care with a passion for ensuring the people you support have fulfilled lives. You will be pro-active with an enthusiasm to encourage and enable people to make their own choices and achieve their own goals in addition to carrying out daily activities to promote integration into the community. It takes a caring, dedicated and flexible person with an understanding of working with autistic people and supporting people with some level of physical disability to be a Support Worker at Space Inclusive Limited. As part of this role you may be required to deliver some personal care to clients.
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidates will have a positive and encouraging personality, enjoy sharing skills and knowledge, with proven experience of working alongside individuals with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism.
