Dimensions provides person-centred support and appropriate housing for adults with learning disabilities and autism throughout the UK. Location: Winchmore Hill, Enfield, North London

Shifts: Full time – 7am-3:30pm | 2pm-9:30pm | 9:30pm-8am (sleep-ins included)

Pay: £12.31 per hour

Nearest stations: Close to the Piccadilly Line and National Rail services – ideal for commuting from across North and Central London

We’re currently looking for two Support Workers to join our team in Enfield, where you’ll be supporting five adults aged 40-60 with learning disabilities and physical health needs. We’re looking for someone who’s proactive, compassionate, and ready to make a difference.

More about the Role

  • You’ll be working alongside two other team members per shift, supporting individuals with a range of needs including full personal care, hoisting (for four people), PEG feeding (for one person), and medication administration. One person communicates using words, while others don’t use words to communicate so being intuitive and observant is key.
  • The people we support love getting out and about to day centres, music sessions, and Sensory enrichment sessions. We’re looking for someone who’s outgoing and creative, someone who can help plan and book engaging local interests and bring energy into the home.
  • You’ll also be involved in cooking meals, supporting with feeding, and supporting with emotional wellbeing.
