We are looking to hire Support workers to join our company. We are a home care (domiciliary) provider based in Batley, with high expectations to provide Person centered care to all service users. We provide care for service users in Batley, Dewsbury, Mirfield and Huddersfield.

We are looking for Support workers whom share our values and belief on the type of care we aim to provide. Support workers must have a passion for helping others, dedicated to providing quality care to Service users, and have excellent organisational and communication skills. Support workers will assist and provide quality care to service users depending on their specific care needs.

Main Duties

  • Perform tasks or duties depending on Service users’ needs such as personal care, cleaning, preparing meals, administering medication etc
  • Support accessing the community such as shopping, appointments, day trips, to the park, cinema etc
  • Determine whether a Service User needs to consult with other specialists as part of their care plan
  • Attend ongoing training courses to continually advance knowledge
  • Act in a professional manner at all times
  • Comply with the rules and regulations set by both the company and the industry to provide safe social care services
  • Other tasks as required to give patients the highest quality care possible.

Qualifications

  • Prior professional care experience would be preferred
  • A caring, compassionate nature
  • NVQ level 2 in health and social care or an equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential as opportunities to undertake and NVQ are provided
  • Strong communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage a busy workload under pressure
  • Willingness to work irregular hours, and over weekends and holidays
  • Drivers required

Hours-

Day shifts:6am- 2pm or 2pm-10pm

Night shifts: 10pm-6am
