My Health Care Support Ltd is looking for a dedicated Support Worker in Hereford to provide compassionate, person-centred care within the community. Previous experience in a care or support role is beneficial but not required, as full training is provided for motivated candidates.

Salary: £12.21-£13.00 per hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing assistance and support to individuals in need, helping them achieve greater independence and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to individuals, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Support individuals in accessing community resources and participating in social activities.
  • Assist with medication management and ensure adherence to prescribed treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the individual’s condition to the appropriate professionals.
  • Foster a supportive and encouraging environment that promotes independence and dignity.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to develop and implement personalised care plans.
  • Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

  • Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to care provision is desirable.
  • Previous experience in a support or care role is an advantage but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Training in Care Certificate,Level 2 and 3 in Health & Social Care
