About the Role
We are looking for an empathetic, enthusiastic and flexible Support Worker to join our team in Warstock, Birmingham. This service is based across multiple sites, helping service users in their own homes. You will be supporting service users with day-to-day tasks, planning and working towards goals to promote independence. Our service users enjoy a range of activities including barbecues, cooking and board game nights!
Support Worker Duties:
- Provision of practical, emotional and behavioural support to service users
- Help service users with running their own homes
- Completing general housing management tasks, cooking and paying bills
- Develop and sustain warm and trusting relationships with service users
- Provision of personal care to service users
Experience is desirable but not essential for this role, as full ongoing training will be provided. A full, clean UK driving licence is mandatory for this role.
