We are an Mental Health Supported Living Unit in Coventry. As part of our dedicated team, we are seeking compassionate and enthusiastic Support Workers to provide essential care and support to individuals with mental health needs.

Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with their daily activities, including personal care, medication administration, and domestic tasks.
  • Promote independence and encourage individuals to develop and maintain life skills.
  • Engage in meaningful activities with tenant’s, ensuring their social and emotional well-being.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to support plans and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, including healthcare professionals and family members, to provide holistic care.

Requirements:

  • Possession of a Level 2 NVQ or equivalent qualification in Health and Social Care is preferred.
  • 1 year care experience
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with residents, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental attitude towards individuals with mental health challenges.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible availability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
