Job Overview:

We are pleased to announce that we have an exciting opportunity at Supreme Care for Support Workers.

Supreme Care have recently opened a new Supported Living home for adults with learning disabilities and mental health in the Birmingham area. You will be a part of opening a brand-new scheme, alongside the Registered Manager.

Supreme Care are looking for people who are friendly, positive and have a genuine passion to support others.

As a support worker you will…

  • Play a key role in offering person centred support to people with learning disabilities and mental health conditions.
  • Play a key role in supporting a person to achieve their goals and positive outcomes as defined in their support plan.
  • Support people in their home as well as in the community with activities of their choice.
  • Support with personal care and medication administration when required.
  • Support with daily tasks like cooking, cleaning and paperwork.
  • To empower and promote independence with the people we support.

Person Specifications

  • Experience within the care industry is desired but not essential
  • Good time management
  • Attention to detail
  • IT literate
  • A positive attitude with a caring and compassionate personality
  • Good communication skills
  • Be able to work as part of a team as well as lone work
  • A full driving license is desired but not essential.
  • Be able to work between the hours of 7am – 10pm as well as being available for sleep-ins.
