About the Role

Taxd is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Remote Tax Assistant. As a tax assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer support for digital tax filing.

Your role has a pivotal part in alleviating the stress around tax filing, this role is ideal for individuals with experience in personal tax-related roles, particularly in expat/non-resident tax.

Primarily customer support over the next few months, but this role has the potential to evolve to product development support and content writing with the right candidate. This is a remote role and ideal for someone who would like flexibility in their work, but also occasional in-person days in London.

Main Duties

  • Customer Support: Provide prompt and professional customer support for digital tax filing. You will be responsible for managing customer chat, responding to tickets, and potentially engaging in calls with clients to address their tax-related inquiries.
  • Tax Content Writing: Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging and informative tax content for our website and blogs. Your expertise in tax matters, especially in the context of non-resident tax, will be essential in producing accurate and valuable content.
  • Product Development Support: Collaborate with the product development team to provide tax-related insights and assist with testing new products. Your expertise will help ensure that our offerings align with current tax regulations and meet the needs of our customers.

Qualifications

  • Experience in personal tax-related roles.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide outstanding customer support via chat, tickets, and potentially calls.
  • Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and accurate tax-related content for various platforms.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining accuracy in all tasks.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Availability for part-time hours, with flexibility to participate in team days every quarter.
