The Role
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Care Assistant / Team Leader to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about care quality, staff development, and supporting service users to receive outstanding care.
You will work closely with care staff, service users, and the office team to ensure care is delivered safely, effectively, and in line with Caremark standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct staff supervisions, spot checks, and appraisals
- Carry out service user reviews and risk assessments
- Support recruitment, induction, and training of care staff
- Monitor care quality and ensure compliance with policies and CQC standards
- Provide guidance and support to care workers in the field
- Assist with investigations, complaints, and safeguarding concerns
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Promote best practice and continuous improvement in care delivery
About You
- Previous experience in domiciliary care or a supervisory role
- Sponsorship potential
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Good understanding of CQC standards and care regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
