Job Details

To support, to support the work of the Transport Planning Team in supporting Bikeability to schools and communities, supporting travel planning Fife wide, marketing, events and promoting sustainable transport solutions such as cycling, walking, travel planning, carbon reduction, and data analysis.

The Person

We are looking for someone who is organised and motivated with good communication skills alongside office experience in an appropriate field such as Roads, Transportation, Environment, Marketing/Promotion.

The Person should as a minimum criteria have:

  • Educated to SCQF level 5, which includes National 5 or SVQ level 2 or Standard Grades at Credit level or equivalent, including Maths and English at level3 or above or equivalent
  • Skills in operating standard computer packages, data analysis abilities using Excel and other systems are an advantage
  • Ability to develop marketing material
  • Ability to lift and load bikes event equipment into vehicles
  • Ability to travel within Fife in the course of your duties
  • Ability to work with figures and maintain detail records
  • Ability to work with the minimum supervision
  • Ability to communicate effectively, work in a team and show initiative
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Ability to provide regular and effective service
