Salary: £23,868 per annum

About the Role

Are you detail-oriented, organised, and passionate about providing exceptional administrative support in the retail travel industry? We’re seeking an experienced travel administrator to join our team and provide essential support to our direct business operations.

In addition to delivering excellent customer service and administrative support, you’ll stay up-to-date with society training and operational processes, providing support to new team members and covering for the Reconciliation Assistant when needed. You’ll handle confidential and sensitive information with care, always ensuring compliance with society policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

As part of this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Contacting agents when queries arise on documentation
  • Producing a wide range of documentation – letters, emails, tickets and reports
  • Arranging payment invoices and maintaining financial records
  • Reconciliation of bookings in order to pay suppliers correctly and in order for Agents to be paid commission correctly
  • Responding to agent queries in a timely manner using varying channels such as email, live chat and telephone

Requirements

Who are we looking for?

To be a successful candidate for this role you will need:

  • English and Maths GCSE Grade C or above
  • Travel experience is required
  • 2 years previous Administration and Customer Service experience, both face to face and over the phone
  • Competent computer skills
  • Ability to work under own initiative
  • Ability to prioritise and arrange work to meet deadlines
