About the Role

Africope are seeking virtual assistants who excel in multitasking, demonstrate proficiency in digital tools and possess strong time management skills to effectively manage a wide range of administrative and support tasks remotely.

Main Duties

  • Manage and organize the client’s calendar, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and reminders
  • Handle email correspondence, including filtering, responding, and forwarding messages as appropriate
  • Provide personal service support, answering queries via phone, email, or chat
  • Conduct research on various topics as requested by the client
  • Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations
  • Manage travel arrangements, including booking flights, hotels, and transportation
  • Perform data entry tasks and maintain spreadsheets
  • Provide basic bookkeeping and invoicing services
  • Coordinate with team members and external partners on projects
  • Create and manage to-do lists for the client
  • Provide personal assistance tasks such as online shopping or gift purchasing
  • Coordinate events, including virtual and in-person meetings or conferences
  • Manage and track expenses and prepare expense reports
  • Provide virtual reception services, including call screening and message-taking
  • Manage and organize the client’s professional network and contacts

Eligibility

  • Should be between 18 and 39 years old
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the English language
  • Hold citizenship or residency in an African country
  • Graduated from an accredited University or Polytechnic

Selection Process

  3. Verification: Credentials of candidates who passed the test-based evaluation will be authenticated.
  4. Incubation: Verified candidates join their three months program to assess their career level and sharpen their skills, receiving a monthly stipend of $400 during the training.
  5. Placement: Upon completing the training program, candidates will be inducted into the full-time workforce and have the opportunity to negotiate a competitive salary package
