Waking Night Support Worker | Mencap – Birmingham | Part-Time (20 Hours per Week)

Mencap is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Waking Night Support Worker to join its team in Birmingham. This part-time position offers 20 hours per week and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people with learning disabilities.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for supporting others and a positive, empathetic attitude. Excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to build trusting and meaningful relationships with individuals receiving care. Candidates should also be flexible and willing to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Part Time Support Worker

Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking passionate Support Workers to join our incredible team in Birmingham As a Support Worker, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.

From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their life.

What we’re looking for:

Contract options:

Part Time: 20 hrs

Shift times: 

All our services are 24hr care. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life!

Waking Nights: 21:15 – 07:30

*All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
