Warehouse Operative – IKEA | Leeds | Part-Time (12–18 Hours)

IKEA Leeds is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join its dynamic team. This part-time role (12–18 hours per week) offers flexible shifts across 3–4 days, including evenings and 3 out of 4 weekends – perfect for those looking to fit work around other commitments.

The ideal candidate will have experience using technical equipment to boost productivity and efficiency within a warehouse or stockroom environment. Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks quickly while maintaining excellent attention to detail are essential.

Salary: £16,131 per annum (pro rata of £26,884 FTE)

What You’ll Need To Have

  • Ability to prioritise and organise your workload swiftly and with attention to detail.
  • Experience in utilising technical equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • You are prepared to act on your own initiative and to participate in group efforts.

What You’ll Be Doing Day To Day

  • Serving customers in the warehouse, balancing both warehouse and customer-facing responsibilities.
  • Effectively perform the role in the assigned area of responsibility, which includes, manual handling of heavy stock, receiving and replenishing goods with accuracy, picking, packing and handing out collection orders to customers and keeping accurate records of stock levels.
  • Working with or around heavy machinery, such as, Forklift trucks, counterbalance, pump trucks, to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse.
  • Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.
  • You will be required to manually handle all of our products ranging from LACK Coffee Tables to PAX Wardrobes.
